Mid Year Update
June 7, 2012 at the Paso Robles Event Center
The Paso Robles Chamber in partnership with the Atascadero Chamber will host the Mid Year Update which is a follow up to the November Forecast.
A progress report on the local economy will be the focus of the Mid Year Update of the Central Coast Economic Forecast on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Economic Forecaster Chris Thornberg and panelists Tom Jones (PG & E), Ty Safreno (Trust Automation) and Kevin Meyer (Specialty Silicone) will anchor the event.
Chris Thornberg, founding principal of Beacon Economics, is familiar to event attendees as a knowledgeable and outspoken economic analyst. He will review year-to-date economic performance in the local area, state and nation, and make projections for the balance of the year.
Jones, Safreno and Meyer will participate in a panel discussion on the local job market and its role in both the success and struggle of area companies. Maggie Cox of BCA will moderate the panel.
Cuesta College President, Gil Stork, willl serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Mid-Year Update. Thie program will be held at the Paso Robles Event Center, June 7, 2012. Doors open for continental breakfast and networking at 7:30 am.
